WhichBingo.co.uk has launched its annual ‘Online Bingo Oscars’, which reward excellence among online bingo sites.
The awards were begun in 2003 and are open to all of the more than 250 ‘pay-to-play’ online bingo sites currently operating in the UK. Players can vote for their favorite site through December 31, 2008, with winners being announced in January 2009.
The categories include The Newest Bingo Site of the Year Online, which is open to all sites, as well as the New UK Online Bingo Site of the Year, which is open to sites that launched in 2008. Last year Think Bingo and Gone Bingo UK won the awards.
Phil Fraser is the owner of WhichBingo.co.uk and one of online bingo’s leading experts, said, he is constantly looking for ways to encourage bingo players. He stated that they are always surprised by the increase in demand with the way things are changing. These awards provide a forum for the players to come together and voice their approval and enjoy all the fun that is included on his site.
Online bingo has experienced huge growth over the past five years and WhichBingo’s awards reflect that growth. There are more contestants than ever for this year’s awards, and many sites have already begun campaigning in earnest.
