A fifty three year old Medway woman who has being playing bingo for many years is really shocked about winning again after having won ₤1 200 only four months ago at the same bingo club. This time, when playing at the Gala Bingo Club in High Street, Chatham, she won more than ₤34 000. The National Bingo prize on the night of her win was for ₤61 860, but she had to share it with another bingo player in Dundee, they both completed their full house in forty five numbers.

This woman commented that she is not normally a lucky person, so the win came to her as a bit of a shock. I really can’t understand this thinking, I mean she won ₤1 200 only four months ago??? Generally speaking people who feel lucky are lucky, but in this instance it appears that a person who considers herself to not be lucky has still won two substantial amounts within four months of each other. I suppose that there are aberrations to every rule.

The woman does not work, she says that this is due to ill health, she is married and has three children and two grandchildren. The woman plays bingo at the Gala club once or twice a week and plans to use her winnings to pay off some debt, buy some new furniture and redecorate her house.

Thanks to her daughters love of dancing, a forty four year old mother from Kilmarnock is ₤35 000 richer today. She is a regular bingo player at the Gala Club in Townhead, Irvine and on the night of her big win, she actually wasn’t scheduled to play bingo. She only decided to play because she had to drop her daughter off nearby for a dancing class.

Obviously the decision to play bingo while her daughter attended her class was the right one and she went home with the national bingo prize of ₤33 400, the Regional prize of ₤2 121 and a house prize of ₤350. She completed her full house in forty six numbers, which is not really a remarkably low call, but it obviously did the trick.

The winner said that she was completely oblivious to how much she had won at first, but when she realised she went completely red in the face. She is a married housewife with three children, and has been a member at the Gala bingo Club since she was eighteen. On this occasion she was alone, but she normally plays bingo with her sister three times a week.

She is planning to save some of the money to take a holiday in Canada in two years time to celebrate her 25th wedding Anniversary, but the rest will go on double gazing, a fitted bathroom and a new roof for the house.

Sadly, the world of bingo has just lost one of its biggest fans. Edith Guildford was 106 years old and she dies a few days ago. She celebrated her hundred and sixth birthday last year at the Gala Bingo Club.

Edith’s son told the press that she has died peacefully with her family by her side, He also said that she was an amazing woman who has made it into the Guinness Book of records for being the oldest bridesmaid in the world, she was the bridesmaid at her Great granddaughters wedding.

Edith was also famous for the fact that in her eighties she went at a hundred miles an hour in a car around Brands Hatch, it seems that she led a very full life indeed. She has a wonderful enthusiasm for life and hated it if anyone said they were bored, she maintained that there was always something to do even bingo.

The manager at the Gala Bingo in Strood said that they were all very sad to hear that Edith has passed away and they would miss her. She was well known by the staff of the bingo club and had celebrated several of her birthdays there.

If you know your bet to place for this year’s Grand National, take your Gala Bingo identity to the Coral site, and log in to place your wager.

You already know you have won big on Gala Bingo with your winning combinations, but did you know you can also bet your winning combination in the April 5th Grand National?

That’s right, using your Gala Bingo registry; you can place your bets on the winner of the horse race at the www.coral.co.uk website. All you need to do is log in, and make a deposit (or transfer) into your “sports” balance on the site. This can be found in the cashier’s account options after you have successfully entered your username and password.

Then choose your horse. Rates for your bet will vary based on the type of bet you place, as well as the odds you will expecting from that horse. Just place your stake information into the square, then click on the word “proceed.”

Once you have completed the betting page, you will be taken to the “potential return” page to review your bet, along with the amount you stand to win should your horse win the race. Be sure all the information is correct before you proceed.

When your bet has been received at Gala, you will get a confirmation window that pops up with all your bet numbers. This information is then available on your account options in the Coral site.

Winners of the bets placed in this manner will be given their payouts in their Bingo accounts, and can be accessed through the cashier link by clicking on “lotto.”

Go, baby, go, to Gala Bingo and Coral to place your bets now!

Gala Bingo has just recently launched a great new game and promotion. The new bingo game is called the “Monopoly Megajackpot” and the people who are testing out and winning in this game are being given the opportunity to win tickets to spend an entire weekend away all at the courtesy of Gala Bingo.

The reason for this wonderful prize is that the Gala Bingo team feel that by offering a marvellous prize such as this, will encourage people to check out and play the new “Monopoly Megajackpot” game.

Gala bingo management are of the belief that their bingo players get drawn into playing the same games all the time and do not have very much incentive to change and try something new. Also, players develop comfort zones and just continue playing the same game all the time. By offering an opportunity to win this great prize it should draw online bingo players’ attention to the fact that there is a £1.5 million jackpot up for offer.

There are a number of requirements to qualify for the prize, a minimum of £25 must be staked on the “Monopoly Megajackpot” game up until the 7th February and this will qualify players a place in the draw. The first prize is a suite for two, for the entire weekend at the Mayfair Radisson Edwardian Hotel together with £1000 spending money and a second prize of a suite for two, for one night in the same hotel, dinner bed and breakfast plus cash spending money of £250.
