A backend error by Foxy Bingo led to them having to pay out ₤50 000 in prize money when the jackpot was won. Apparently a game that was supposed to be a coverall jackpot accidentally went out to the public as a guaranteed jackpot and when the lucky player tracy1801 won bingo in sixty calls (not even a very good number of calls) and was supposed to be paid out ₤500, however due to the error, the operating company, Cashcade paid out ₤50 000.
This is a wonderful gesture from Foxy Bingo, any other site might just have admitted that they made a mistake and made some form compensation, but not them. Although they already have good standing in my opinion, this just raises them higher in online bingo standings and the resulting publicity from the story will certainly do them no harm. It is very good to know that Foxy Bingo takes good care of their members; they certainly know how to put their money where their mouth is!
If you want to play at Foxy, you will receive ₤10 worth of free bingo, but it is unlikely that they will make the same mistake again, so don’t count on another ₤50,000 win on a ₤500 game!
