A local lady who was playing bingo at the Walkers Club in Beaufort Park, Birmingham, when she won a really big bingo jackpot., and this is the second major bingo cash prize she has won at the same club. The first time she won was in 2005, a whopping ₤102 000, and now another huge one, more than ₤38 000. She won the national bingo prize of ₤35 520, which was half the value of the prize on the night of the win, she had to share with another winner in Corby who also called full house in forty three numbers.
She said that she feels very lucky to have won twice, and I have to agree with her. She said that after she won in 2005, people were asking her why she still played bingo; they didn’t believe that it could be possible for her to ever win again. But that is the luck of the game isn’t it? She also said that she had a gut feeling that she would win, and rightly so, she followed her instinct and went to play.
The woman works as a part time cook and plans to use some of the money to pay into her mortgage, but hasn’t decided what to do with the rest. She has three children and six grandchildren, so what is the betting that they will benefit from her little windfall?
