Another celebrity has fallen prey to the charm of playing bingo, model Agyness Deyn, who has been hailed as the worlds next great supermodel is more likely to be found shouting bingo at her local club than falling, Kate Moss style, out of the doors of a night club.
The twenty five year old who comes from Failsworth in Manchester has been referred to as an “ambassador of British youth culture”, and she purposely avoids the cool crowd, instead you are much more likely to find her on a Friday night, joining the blue rinse bingo brigade.
The second of three children, Agyness’ first job was in a fish and chip shop, serving cod and chips. This daughter of a nurse won Rossendale Free Press “Face of ’99” when she was a mere sixteen years of age. She studies drama and music at a college in Hull and was soon spotted by a photographer, and snapped up by a modeling agency. According to her friends every Friday is “Bingo Night” and apparently she is quite obsessive about the game, her and her friends have a couple of shandies and a great laugh dabbing the numbers.
